Me too. It struck me on many levels. I didn't know much about him, but to really love his music(especially lyrically), but this offered up where he came from quite nicely.
He definitely spoke from a place of privilege, and at times seemed arrogant, but what he's done with it all speaks for itself.
Cohen gifts as a lyricist and a poet have always been stronger than his skills as a musician. There's something both compelling and really creepy about his verse.
