Where have I been? I loved the original Seasons in the Sun when I was a kid, and was into Nirvana in the 90's, yet I never heard their cover. Thanks, I gotta go see if iTunes has is.

Oh crap. I'm having one of those hits-of-the-70s,-80s,-90s-and-today-easy-listening flashbacks. Seasons in Sun was one my faves too, long with The Night Chicago Died and Alone Again (Naturally).

Why were Hall and Oates afraid of women?

I like Danger's cover better.

Wyld- I understand. I can't watch vids on YouTube at work either. (But, I can watch Super Deluxe.)

Pidomon- I like that one as well. My 8 year old son's favorite band is Nirvana, and my 15 year old daughter is a fan. I didn't catch on to them early one, but I certainly like them now. This is is cool. Who doesn't love that song?

Kriti- I am not sure if this cover was ever on an album or not. I'd be interesting in finding out if it was. I got the idea it was just a rogue recording, but that may just be too lucky.

Spartacus- Oh, I am thinking of getting more contemporary rock bands covering some of what we'd now call easy listening. My mother said some of my first words were singing "Summer Breeze."

Dean- I agree. I like their version better. You have not been around my blog too long, but I have posted that a few times as a part of my Hall and Oates '08 promotional campaign. Daryl Hall's such a babe, he has to watch out else all those females devour him. (chuckle)

I hope that comment doesn't stop the Hall and Oates Yahoo group from posting links and visiting. They are always welcome. In fact, I shall overcompensate by doing a new Hall and Oates post again soon. I wonder if Flo Jo should have an encounter with Darl, or Jon's 'stache? Hmm.
